Come check out this nature reserve in Fallbrook with Volunteer Naturalist Peter! This hike consists of a short 1/2 mile loop with lots of shade, lots of trees, meadows, a year-round meandering stream known as Cienega Creek and opportunities to see birds. We'll stop frequently to observe and identify plants and wildlife. The preserve is named for Nancy and Howard Dinwiddie, whose bequest made the purchase of this 14.5 acre property possible. Elevation gain: negligible. The preserve is located just a few hundred yards past the Fallbrook High School on Stage Coach Lane and across the street from Palomares House.
